About Baxter
The University of Canberra is pleased to announce the debut of Baxter, a project in which Dr Damith Herath and his team have been proudly working on for an extensive period of time. This robot is able to work within close proximity with humans allowing for games such as Tic Tack Toe to be played. Dr Herath has stated that ‘what is simple for human is typically hard for robots’ which is why him and his engineering team are so passionate about making ground breaking advances in robotics.
